On Monday 4th July 2011 Cruden celebrated the achievements of our Apprentices, Trainees and Learners in our best Annual Escalate Awards ceremony yet, in the heart of the Manchester International Festival in the unique Glass House venue.

As proud sponsor of the Manchester International Festival we were delighted to use the Glass House venue in the heart of the festivities in Albert Square. Many of our clients, partners and training providers joined award nominees and staff to enjoy the vibrant atmosphere, unique surroundings and summer sunshine the festival square had to offer.

Compared by rubgy union legend Steve Hanley, the awards ceremony recognizes and celebrates the many achievements of Apprentices, Trainees and Learners in 2010/11. Eight of our closest clients from Manchester and Salford City Councils, New Charter, Harvest, South Liverpool and Wulvern Housing Groups and Lancasterian School kindly joined the ceremony to inspire our young learners by telling of their own career journeys and the lessons that had helped them along the way.

Eight awards were given on the day and our congratulations go to all of the nominees and award winners in each of the catagories; Trade Apprentice and Trainee of the Year, Outstanding Achievement, Escalate in the Community Champion and Young and Advanced Professionals of the Year.

The event was a real celebration of the talent and potential of Trainees and Apprentices in Cruden Group and the commitment Cruden has to developing and nurturing the talent needed for a successful future.
