Tuesday 19th April 2011

Harvest Housing residents from the Tafford and Manchester area were delighted to get some expert DIY advise from Cruden's skilled operatives at the residents event on Saturday 16th April 2011. Many residents rolled up their sleeves to learn a new skill of wall papering and tiling at the live demonstrations from the Cruden team.

The event was organised by Kate Eastwood, Neighbourhood Regeneration Officer for Harvest with the aim of promoting the wide range of services available to residents through framework partners such as Cruden Property Services, PH Jones, Ventaxi, Credit Union and sheltered and support services.

Attending for Cruden was Resident Liasion Officer Laura Davison who chatted with resident's about what services we provide, along with a providing range of tips and hints about energy savings in their home. Tommy Whittles and Steve Haslam demonstrated wallpapering and tiling skills to residents eager to learn something new.

As anticipated the day was a huge success with many residents attending and getting involved with the framework partners. Laura commented 'a big thank you to all involved especially to tommy and Steve who kept our stand so busy all day'
