The team at Cruden Property Services are no strangers to getting involved in the communities we work in, so we were delighted to once again support our client Great Places Housing Group and local residents group 'Community Spirit' in running the annual residents Fun Day on Saturday 17th July 2010.

The local residents group 'Community Spirit' has been organizing this annual event for many years and 2010 marks the 10th anniversary of the celebrations. Cruden have been involved in several previous events but wanted to make 2010 extra special for the residents of Knutsford.

Working alongside Alex Millward and Sarah Riley from the Great Places Housing Group, 11 Cruden volunteers – named below - organised a static Bird of Prey display, hand and face painting for the children, graffiti and an arts and craft competitions, hand and body painting as well as many other fun and games.

All the actives were well received by local residents and particularly all the children who received prizes for their work in the arts, crafts and graffiti competitions, but it was the Bird of Prey display proved most popular.

Community Spirit's Chair, Cllr Olivia Hunter stated "The 10th anniversary of the Over Ward Fun Day has been a huge success yet again and I am sure that everyone attending has had a great day. This event proves that 'Community Spirit' really does work, when communities pull together as a team."
