Manchester City Council Small Works Framework

Cruden Property Services are a partner contractor in the Manchester City Small Works Framework for works up to £500,000. This is a 4 year framework agreement for the delivery of services to public buildings, care facilities and schools and educational establishments within the city of Manchester.

The Framework is very highly rated by Manchester City Council and is believed to be unique in its concept. The management of the contract is supported by a Framework Management Core Group consisting of representatives from each of the directorates within the city and a key representative from each of the framework contractors.

Work streams are mapped out in advance and allocated according to performance aptitude and expertise. The range of projects is wide and varied and Cruden Property Services have been successfully involved with:

■ Disabled Adaptations - in Schools , Public Buildings and Care Homes
■ Window Replacement – in Schools
■ Re-roofing Works – in Schools
■ Demolition – of various buildings
■ Provision of Temporary classroom facilities
■ Works to Listed Buildings – Libraries
■ Refurbishment of Office Accommodation – Heron House Manchester
■ Resurfacing Works – Car parks and Playgrounds

All of the above works have been carried out to strict budgets and delivered to time which is a vital aspect of the aims and objectives of the framework.

The majority of work is carried out in occupied buildings many open to the public. These working environments bring with them specific requirements that have to be considered in relation to many aspects of the work.
